Vice President of Marketing Julie Counterman joined Recordant in 2006 to solidify the company's brand position and establish its marketing direction. In this role, Counterman works as the pivotal link between technology and sales to establish a value proposition and a demonstrated ROI on solutions that improve sales, enhance employee training and establish best practices in customer service. Additionally, she outlines strategic product direction and manages key market verticals. With 14 years of marketing both emerging and established brands, Counterman most recently served as vice president, sales and marketing for the Services and Payments division of John H. Harland Company, a $1 billion financial services provider. Prior to her position with Harland, Counterman served as chief marketing officer, executive vice president of sales for the Merchant Services division, of InterCept Inc., a payments solutions company. She was also vice president of marketing for Spectrum EBP, a start-up electronic bill presentment and payment company. During her tenure at each of these companies, Counterman focused on developing and executing strategies to drive sales and profitability, strengthen market position and lead product direction. Counterman holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Illinois State University. |
