Jun Li is vice president for Avnet's Corporate Services Group assistant general counsel and serves as corporate secretary for Avnet Inc. In addition to serving as the secretary to the Avnet Board of Directors Mr. Li's responsibilities include managing core entity information for the company's 200 plus subsidiaries globally and counseling the Board of Directors and senior management on corporate governance. He joined Avnet in April 2005 as associate general counsel with primary responsibility for providing legal support in the areas of securities law capital market transactions and corporate governance. Mr. Li reports to David Birk senior vice president chief legal officer and general counsel of Avnet.
Prior to Avnet Mr. Li was an associate with Bryan Cave LLP a college professor and a business consultant. A native of the People's Republic of China Mr. Li holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Zhengzhou University PRC and several degrees including a doctorate in educational leadership with a concentration in cultural anthropology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and a juris doctorate from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. |
