Mr. Blumetti joined the company promptly after graduation from Ohio University, where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. During his college career he was heavily active with the Aeromobile Team, which consisted of a group of professors and students that worked on the design of a personal aircraft. By his senior year, Mr. Blumetti had become President of the team and their efforts were awarded with second place in NASA's PAVE (Personal Aircraft Vehicle Exploration) competition. Upon graduation, Mr. Blumetti was honored with the Russ College Outstanding Senior and Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Senior Award for his outstanding academic performance and design of a highly sophisticated landing gear system. |
