Prior to co-founding ATopTech with Dr. Tsou, Dr. Lee held various senior technical management positions at Arcsys, Avant!, Synopsys and Tera Systems between 1992 - 2002 and Intel between 1989 - 1992. While at Arcsys, Dr. Lee was one of the original designers/architect who built and designed the core algorithms for ArcCell, the leading place and route solution of its time. Dr. Lee has been awarded a U.S. Patent for inventing the industry-first automatic data preparation/extraction algorithm for place and route and shrank the data preparation time from weeks to minutes. While at Avant! (acquired by Synopsys 2002), Dr. Lee led a team to develop the market leading physical design planner, Planet/Jupiter. After Avant!, Dr. Lee joined Tera Systems in 1997, as Sr. Software Engineer and then later VP of engineering, he lead a team to develop the first RTL design planner (TeraForm). He holds a B.S. in physics from National Taiwan University, a M.S. in Applied Physics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. |
