Kala Tomjack was named Managing Attorney of First National Merchant Solutions in January 2004. In her position, Tomjack is responsible for all aspects of the organization's legal operation, including advising on legal issues; overseeing contracts; maintaining regulatory compliance, protecting the company's intellectual property rights and managing a staff of attorneys and support personnel. Tomjack began her career at First National Merchant Solutions in 1999 as a staff attorney. Before joining First National Merchant Solutions, she held a number of professional positions including legal contractor for Union Pacific Railroad; senior certified student attorney for Creighton Legal Clinic and law clerk for deceased Douglas County District Court Judge Michael W. Amdor. A graduate of Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Neb., Tomjack also received her Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University. She was admitted to the bar of the State of Nebraska and the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska in September 1997.
