Kara is highly experienced in all phases of litigation practice. She has managed numerous internal investigations, risk assessments, and discovery efforts in numerous cases, and has extensive experience with motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, bench and jury trials, and state and federal appeals. Kara is a co-chair of the firm's electronic discovery working group. Highlights of her recent experience include: Obtained summary judgment for technology company in arbitration seeking damages in excess of $25 million Leading litigation role in the investigation, trial and appeal of a six-year, billion-dollar pharmaceutical trade secret dispute resulting in a permanent injunction.
