Min brings to BBK clients his expertise in operations improvement. He has over 23 years of experience and extensive knowledge in quality, supply chain, and project management. Professional Experience Prior to BBK, Min was the Director of Supply Chain Management for GE-Silicones Greater China at GE Advanced Materials in Shanghai. He was responsible for directing and leading all supply chain and customer services activities in multiple sites, including purchasing, planning and scheduling, transportation, logistics, inventory management, order management and issue resolutions through working with global teams. He successfully drove continuous improvement initiatives through implementing a new ERP process; drove an error-free delivery at the lowest cost with the least amount of inventory; and led all Pacific DTW cost reduction efforts. As Quality Leader for GE-Silicones Greater China, Min led the deployment of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing training; identified and led projects to improve existing processes and design new processes; and successfully led cross-functional teams to improve services by reducing delivery span by 60% and significantly improving billing accuracy and claim process. Min was the Quality Leader of GE Lubrizol at GE Transportation Systems in Cleveland, Ohio and was responsible for deploying Six Sigma processes through business initiatives and driving business process improvement. He led a cross-functional team to develop a fuel management system to substantially increase productivity, and also led a team to develop a fuel measurement system that greatly increased asset utilization. Throughout his career, Min held other positions at GE Transportation Systems including Program Manager, Mechanical Systems Engineer and System Reliability Engineer. He was also Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at the China Academy of Railway Sciences in Beijing. |
