Miriam Darden Settles, CFP, began working at Signature in 1999 as a financial analyst. She later assumed the role of Relationship Manager, constructing and managing investment portfolios as well as providing planning advice. Her current role focuses on industry research in addition to writing and editing technical pieces for publication in the financial press, on Signature's website and in our quarterly newsletter. Also a member of the tax team, Miriam prepares returns for several of our individual and trust accounts. As a member of the Planning Committee, Miriam is relied upon for her knowledge of education planning strategies with an emphasis on 529 savings and prepaid tuition plans. Prior to joining Signature, Miriam worked with the Public Service Company of New Mexico, where she focused on project financing and debt management. She has an MBA with a concentration in corporate finance from Wright State University in Ohio and a BS degree with an emphasis in computer information systems from Colorado State University. |
