Miriam Lee is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa�s Chicago office and, as a member of the In-House Practice Group, focuses her efforts on placing mid- and senior-level attorneys in corporate law departments in a wide range of industries. Her 14 years� experience as an in-house lawyer for TECO Energy, Inc. gives her special insight into the requirements of corporate law departments and the candidates who can successfully fill those needs. Prior to joining TECO Energy, Miriam was a commercial litigator with Carlton Fields, a large Tampa, Florida law firm.
A Mississippi native, Miriam graduated with highest honors from Mississippi State University with a BS degree in business and education and received her JD degree with honors from Mississippi College. She was a published member of the law review staff and served on the editorial board. Miriam is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Miriam enjoys traveling, golf and collecting unusual artwork. She is also a gourmet cook and enjoys entertaining friends in her home in Chicago�s Gold Coast/Streeterville neighborhood. |
