Dr. Refai has been involved in education and information technology ventures throughout the Middle East for over two decades. His Cairo based education technology company Global Techniques is known throughout the region for innovation creativity and dependability. Dr. Refai began working with PCS Edventures in 2003 and has spent the last three years working closely with PCS sales and development groups to refine and localize the unique PCS project based learning products for delivery into the Middle Eastern marketplace. Dr. Refai has successfully presented these cutting edge learning solutions to educational leaders throughout the region and established a number of pilot programs in the UAE Saudi Arabia and Egypt. PCS Middle East a joint venture created in 2005 betweeen PCS Edventures and Global Techniques is now focused on expanding these pilot programs throughout the region. Dr. Refai graduated from Alexandria University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He received his Masters from the AUC in Cairo and a PhD from the International University of Washington in Engineering and Technology
