Within eight months of joining TD Securities - my first job after graduating with a degree in economics - I was promoted to Assistant Manager with four people reporting to me. Last year, I became an Associate. It's a position that has enabled me to gain an appreciation of the scope of our businesses and further my goal of becoming a trader in the foreign exchange or derivatives areas. Over the same time period, TD has supported my decision to take the Chartered Financial Analyst course.
