My current assignment involving the Elm Road coal-fired power plant in Wisconsin is the biggest and best yet. It has given me many opportunities to use my three decades of project experience to anticipate both the internal and external customers needs, work on cost mitigation, meet an accelerated schedule, and keep learning more and more in the process.
I also was involved in the expansion of the Springerville coal-fired plant in Arizona. My responsibility was to deliver quality, schedule, and budget. The engineering was being jointly executed in New Delhi and Frederick, Maryland. I ensured that all disciplines worked seamlessly, encompassing the latest work processes and appropriate tools while working closely with the construction teams.
It was not an easy decision to leave my previous job to join Bechtel, but I havent regretted my decision. At Bechtel, Im getting opportunities to learn new tools and work processes, and work on challenging assignments.
