Ms. Gearding is an associate in the Business and Finance Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. She received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Ms. Gearding focuses her practice on commercial and corporate law, with an emphasis on real estate matters, commercial lending and consumer finance. Her real estate experience includes: commercial real estate sales and acquisitions; acquisition and construction financing; condominium development; commercial and residential leasing, including negotiation of leases for landlords and tenants; commercial construction and development; tax-deferred exchanges; and residential purchases and sales. Her consumer finance experience includes consumer law compliance review, preparation and review of form contracts for compliance with various state RISA�s, UCCC�s and other state and federal laws. She is a member of the firm�s Professional Women�s Resource Group (PWRG) and a member of the Wilder, Kentucky City Council.
