Mony Hassid is an Investment Manager at Motorola Ventures in Israel. In this role he is responsible for identifying and executing strategic, minority-equity investments, in technology companies to accelerate access for all of Motorola's existing and future businesses and markets. Mony actively engages in business development and strategic development for various Motorola business units in Israel, identifying ways in which venture investments can accelerate business unit activities.
Prior to joining Motorola Ventures, Mony was a consultant to first tier VC s in Israel, their portfolio companies and entrepreneurs on marketing, business development and technological aspects. Mony has a wide experience in entrepreneurship and was a founder of an SDR base stations startup.
Mony has worked for ten years in Motorola GTSS in Israel , the Wireless Infrastructure sector, in leading business development, engineering and technological key positions. The latest position Mony held was as a Business Development section manager, searching & evaluating Emerging Cellular, Wireless and Internet technologies in the Israel Industry for Aspira, Motorola Next Generation Net. In parallel, he was responsible for 3G in Motorola Israel. Prior to that position he was an Engineering & Chief Technologist manager, responsible for design & deployment of a large CDMA system in Israel; and Chief Engineer of a feasibility study performed for the Government researching various Cellular technologies.
Mony holds an M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tel Aviv and an MBA from the Recanati Faculty University of Tel Aviv. Both with Cum Laude. |
