Chin has been with Autodesk since 1989 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning & Operations. In this role she is responsible for managing key strategic and operational initiatives for the company and leads the Worldwide Customer Service Licensing Pricing and Strategic Research teams.
During Chin's 15 years with the company she has served in many roles including Director of CAD support AutoCAD Software Development Manager Director of Project Management Senior Director of Corporate Programs Vice President of Business Operations for Location Services and Vice President of Business Administration. As Vice President of Business Administration she worked with previous Autodesk Chief Executive Officer Carol Bartz and was responsible for the coordination of executive staff functions and deployment of corporate planning processes. Chin has been the "executive for hire" for many special projects such as the Discreet Integration in 1999 and Vice President of Business Operations for the Location Services Division.
Before joining Autodesk Chin was with General Electric for eight years. She earned her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and her M.S. in Manufacturing Management from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. |
