Mr. Arntzen, 49, is president and chief executive officer of Overseas Shipholding Inc. (OSG), one of the largest tanker owners in the world and a leading U.S.-based bulk shipping company. Prior to joining Overseas Shipholding in December 2003, Arntzen was the chief executive officer of American Marine Advisors (AMA), a leading merchant banking firm focused on the global shipping industry. Prior to joining AMA, he spent more than 17 years at Chase Manhattan Bank and its predecessors in a variety of corporate positions, including the last six years as head of the Global Transportation Group at Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank. Mr Arntzen has been involved in the broader transportation industry since 1979. He is also a director of IM Skaugen Shipping, Essar Shipping, and TBS Shipping. |
