Murray Markiles Murray Markiles is a founding partner of the Firm and former partner of the global law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, and Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey, LLP. Murray received his J.D. degree in 1986 from the University of California at Los Angeles. He attended UCLA, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, in 1983. He is a member of the California Bar. Murray has extensive experience in counseling public and emerging high technology ventures in all aspects of their business, from founding to sale or initial public offering, to cross-border mergers and acquisitions and going private tender offers. Murray has acted for world leading global technology companies including Skype and Joost, and has represented Internet advertising and distribution companies in large and sophisticated revenue generating transactions and joint ventures. Murray frequently provides strategic advice to clients involved in sophisticated and complex litigation.
