Dr. Mease, who has held his current position with Gentiva since 2001, plays a key role in the operations and strategies of CareCentrix, Gentiva's ancillary care benefit management unit. He previously served with Olsten Corporation's healthcare division Gentiva's predecessor organization -- since 1994, first as vice president, managed care, and later as vice president of network operations and vice president of CareCentrix. Earlier in his career, Dr. Mease held clinical, operational, and program development leadership roles with Critical Care America and TeamCare. He also developed and managed Medical Care America's Memphis-based patient management and distribution hub in partnership with Federal Express. Dr. Mease holds a doctorate in clinical pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. He completed his doctoral thesis at Johns Hopkins University Cancer Center and pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institutes, where he conducted pediatric cancer research. |
