Myra is a partner in the intellectual property section of the business law department. Her areas of practice include intellectual property law, computer law, and electronic commerce and internet law, with a particular focus on software licensing and outsourcing. Formerly Myra was employed by IBM Corporation, Charlotte, N.C., as a Global Software Sourcing Manager where she had worldwide procurement responsibility for IBM's inbound enterprise software licensing contracts. Myra currently serves as a member of the firm's Diversity and Recruiting Committees. Myra is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Prepared and negotiated numerous software license agreements and services-related agreements for emerging businesses and Fortune 500 companies.
Represented a Fortune 500 company in a substantial asset purchase involving intellectual property and related transition services.
Represented a Fortune 100 company in the successful negotiation of the implementation of an electronic bill payment process.
Prepared and negotiated information technology and business process outsourcing agreements, for clients in the finance, healthcare, insurance and other industries.
Prepared and successfully prosecuted an Internet domain name complaint for a major financial institution using the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy.
