Nancy M. Grimaldi, CPA, is a Partner at Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP. She works exclusively with financial services industry clients, and has extensive experience serving investment partnerships, arbitrage entities, clearing and non-clearing broker-dealers, commodity pool operators and registered investment advisors. Ms. Grimaldi specializes in auditing and financial services. Her experience includes reviews of operations and financial areas, as well as developing recommendations for improved internal controls and operating efficiencies and conducting studies to help determine the costs and benefits associated with self-clearing for a brokerage firm. Ms. Grimaldi is an active member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA") and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"). She has served as a member of the AICPA's Stockbrokerage and Investment Banking Committee and as co-chairperson of the Stockbrokerage and Investment Banking Annual National Conference from 1994 through 2002. She also has served as an instructor for the NYSSCPA's Stockbrokerage Committee Technical Sessions and as the chairperson of the NYSSCPA's Commodity Accounting Committee, and she continues to serve as a member of that committee. Ms. Grimaldi currently serves as Treasurer of the Financial Management Division of the Securities Industry Association and as a member of its Financial Management Division, Internal Auditors Division and Securities Operations Division. Her additional memberships include the Futures Industry Association and the Financial Women's Association. Ms. Grimaldi received her B.S. in accounting from Lehman College, City University of New York. |
