Nancy Kudla is the founder of dNovus RDI, a company dedicated to delivering high end solutions and services that help their customers succeed. From systems integration, to studies and analysis, to technology solutions and services, dNovus offers specialized expertise in: information, intelligence, and innovative technologies. As Chairman and CEO, Ms. Kudla is responsible for overall direction and ensuring successful performance of dNovus RDI (founded as Research Dynamics in 1989 and incorporated as RDI Systems, Inc. in 1995) and its affiliate, Core6 Solutions, a very successful small business joint venture providing program advisory and assistance services to the Air Force�s 311th Human Systems Group. dNovus is known for its excellence. Under Ms. Kudla�s leadership, dNovus has grown from a one-person consulting firm to one of the 7 largest women-owned businesses in San Antonio, Texas, currently employing nearly 200 professionals and formally SEI/CMM Level 3 Certified by Carnegie Mellon University. The U.S. Small Business Administration has nationally recognized dNovus RDI, as the Federal Government�s National and Regional Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year 2000, as well as receiving recognition from both Brooks Air Force Base and Randolph Air Force Base as an Outstanding Minority Business Partner. In 2001, the San Antonio North Chamber of Commerce recognized dNovus as the Technology Provider of the Year. And in 2002, the San Antonio Greater Chamber of Commerce awarded dNovus its Pinnacle Award for Achievement as a Small Business. Additionally, the Air Force�s 311th HSG has recognized Core6 Solutions as its Systems Contractor of the Year in 2002, 2004, and 2005. With over 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Kudla is an accomplished business leader. Her industry experience includes engineering management and program development with Betac Corporation (1985-1987) in San Antonio, Texas and Logicon Corporation (1987-1989) in Arlington, Virginia. Prior to joining industry, Ms. Kudla served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1980-1985. Ms. Kudla is a member of the first graduating class of women from the U.S. Air Force Academy (1980). Earning a Bachelor of Science degree, she double-majored in Economics and International Affairs, graduating with Honors and as a Rhodes Scholarship National Finalist from Virginia. In 1987, Ms. Kudla also received her MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a graduate of the Tuck School of Business� Minority Business Entrepreneur Program (MBEP) at Dartmouth University. She has been recognized by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as a 2003 National Finalist for the Trailblazer Award, as well as by the San Antonio Business Journal with the 2003 Entrepreneurial Spirit Award for Visionary Leadership. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Kudla currently resides in San Antonio, Texas. An active member of the community, Ms. Kudla serves on several federal, state, and community boards, including: the U.S. Air Force Academy�s Board of Visitors (Presidential Appointment); the Texas Industrial Development Board (Governor�s Appointment); the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Alamo Chapter Board; the USAFA Association of Graduates Alamo Chapter Board; and the San Antonio Technology Accelerator Initiative (SATAI) Network. She and her husband, Frank M. Kudla, Jr. (Chief Financial Officer, dNovus RDI), are the proud parents of four boys. |
