Nancy Glaser, Senior Vice President, Global Communications, is responsible for all of Avon�s communications strategies involving the news media, company employees and Avon�s nearly 5 million Representatives.
A 19-year Avon veteran, Ms. Glaser has broad experience in every aspect of communications. Prior to her current role, she had served successively as Group Vice President, Global Internal Communications; Vice President, Communications, North America; and Vice President, Global Advertising and Public Relations.
In 1989, she was named Director of Advertising and Public Relations, with her responsibilities broadening to include Consumer Affairs. Ms. Glaser joined Avon in 1986 as Director of Special Events.
Prior to her tenure at Avon, Ms. Glaser had been Senior Vice President and a member of the executive committee at Carl Byoir & Associates, a well-known public relations firm. She has also held positions as Public Affairs Officer of the American Museum of Natural History, and Director of Employee Communications at Metropolitan Hospital Center.
Ms. Glaser has received the Silver Anvil award in Marketing Communications from the Public Relations Society of America. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York, the Board of Advisors of Catalyst, and she has also been a guest lecturer for New York Women in Communications.
Ms. Glaser is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
