Nancy joined the Foundation in 1983. She is currently director of Arts and is responsible for overseeing the Foundation's grantmaking in the arts. In addition, she is responsible for local grantmaking in Los Altos, where the Foundation is headquartered, and Pueblo, Colorado, where David Packard was born and raised.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Nancy was executive director of Community School of Music and arts in Mountain View, California.
Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and education from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Nancy is coauthor, with Dr. Thomas Wolf, of And the Band Stopped Playing�The Rise and Fall of the San Jose Symphony. She also sits on the board of Americans for Arts and Classics for Kids Foundation and is an advisory committee member of the Non-Profit Finance Fund. |
