Naozer Dadachanji is the co-head of North American Active Equities and the global COO for the Active Equities Group. Together with Charles Lee, BGI's global head of equity research, Naozer is responsible for overseeing research and portfolio management for BGI's North American active equity products. His responsibilities are to assist the global CIO in the overall management of BGI's active equity business and to provide a central point of coordination between the Active Equities Group and the support functions. In his previous role, Naozer was the chief operating officer for BGI's Global Advanced Active business. His primary responsibility was to assist the CEO in the overall business management of the group. Naozer rejoined BGI in January 2004 after having been a founding partner of Argonaut Trading, a proprietary trading operation specializing in statistical arbitrage. Previously, he was an investment strategist responsible for BGI's International Alpha Tilts strategies, and before that a consultant at Towers Perrin. Naozer holds bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics, and has completed all doctoral coursework in mathematical sciences at Clemson University. |
