Narasimham Jammi moved to the US to do his MS in Biochemistry after his Bachelors in India at Osmania University. While doing his MS, he decided that he wouldn't mind spending another 6-7 years in abject poverty while getting his Ph. D. and went on to get a doctorate at the University of Utah in Biological Chemistry, during which he was awarded the prestigious Huntsman Cancer Institute Fellowship Following his Ph. D., he did a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. He was a recipient of the Dean's Fellowship at Stanford University, which he turned down to move back to India. He joined the ReaMetrix team in Bangalore because he found the corporate philosophy "People make Companies" to be very appealing. He has several interests besides science and has won the Duke of Edinburgh Awards (Bronze, Silver and Gold Standards) for social service, his oratorical skills as well as his academic achievements. |
