Nash Marinovich, Ph.D., joined Theravance as Vice President, Business Development in January 2007. From 2004 to 2006 he was a Principal with Baker Brothers Investments (BBI) in New York, involved in long-term investment strategies for publicly traded biotechnology companies, as well as technical and commercial assessments for potential investments by BBI. Prior to BBI, Dr. Marinovich spent twenty one years at Pfizer, Inc., the last sixteen years in the Licensing and Development group. He joined Pfizer in 1993 from the faculty of The Graduate Center of the City University of New York and the City College, New York, where he was an Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry. Dr. Marinovich received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Belgrade University and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He was also a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Cornell University. |
