He graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor's Degree in English in 1999, interned with the National Journalism Center in Washington, D.C. in 2000, and then spent two years working at Forrester Research in Cambridge, MA. He also has a Master's degree from New York University in Business and Economic Reporting.
