Nathan Ravin, co-founder of the firm, received his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School, now Seton Hall School of Law in 1946 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1943. Mr. Ravin was admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for District of New Jersey in 1947, and the United States Supreme Court in 1956. He served as the Commissioner, Essex County Board of Mental Health, 1962-1965; the Attorney for West Orange Urban Renewal Agency, 1963-1966; Permanent Delegate, 3rd Judicial Circuit, Judicial Conference. He is also a member of the Essex County Bar Association, Debtor-Creditor Committee Member; New Jersey State Bar Association, Debtor-Creditor Section. Chairman of the Debtor Creditor Section of State Bar Association 1973; and a Member of the American Bar Association. He has also been honored in "Who's Who Among American Lawyers."
