Nathan Ulery is a member of the management team at West Monroe Partners, where he co-leads the Technology and Outsourced solutions teams and serves as an infrastructure architect for many West Monroe Partners clients. Nate also is responsible for managing the North American information technology infrastructure for West Monroe Partners.

Nate joined West Monroe Partners in its first six months of operations and, as the first person in the Infrastructure practice, he has helped foster its dramatic growth over the past few years and set the tone for the team's "get it done" approach to client engagements.
Nate is responsible for and involved in a wide range of consulting assignments covering business and IT strategies. He teams with clients to integrate their business and information needs with innovative technology solutions that focus on reliability, availability, performance, and cost effectiveness. Nate's key skills include infrastructure architecture, design, implementation, and troubleshooting. With a focus on infrastructure architecture and a background in software development, Nate plays a critical role in working with both application development and infrastructure teams to facilitate successful application implementations.
Prior to joining West Monroe Partners, Nate worked for two Big 5 professional services firms as well as a regional network integrator as a network engineer, senior consultant, and infrastructure architect. Previously, he was the assistant network manager at a university, where he helped lead the deployment and adoption of the campus-wide network that provided a network port to every pillow, classroom, public area, and office on campus. Nate began his professional career as the assistant to the chief financial officer at a community foundation where he was responsible for the implementation of an integrated system that managed all accounting (AR/AP/GL) as well as donor, fund, and grant management.
Nate has consulted at more than 50 clients across a range of industries, including trading, venture capital, professional services, education, nonprofit, software and high-tech, real estate, manufacturing, media and publishing, retail, finance and insurance, transportation, government, and energy.
Nate obtained his Bachelor of Arts diploma in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where he graduated magna cum laude with distinction. As a Management Fellow, Nate developed skills in accounting, economics, and management. Nate has also earned multiple industry certifications from Microsoft, Citrix, Novell, and Cisco.
Besides consulting, Nate also enjoys writing and has been published in a range of publications from Microsoft's Executive Circle magazine to NASCAR coverage for a local newspaper. |
