Neal Schneider joined Conseco's board of directors in September 2003.
Schneider spent 34 years of his business career at Arthur Andersen. At the time of his retirement from Andersen in 2000 he was a partner in the consulting practice having served as partner in charge of the Worldwide Insurance Industry Practice and the North American Financial Service Practice.
Between 2002 and 2003 Schneider was a partner of Smart and Associates LLP a business advisory and accounting firm. Between 2000 and 2003 he was an independent consultant. Schneider has been chairman of the board of PMA Capital Corporation since 2003.
Schneider holds a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Charleston and has been a certified public accountant since 1970. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters and presently serves on the executive audit and governance committees for PMA Capital. |
