Prior to joining Flight Safety Technologies, Dr. Fine served for eleven years as a Principal Scientist and Manager at the Engineering Technology Center and at Anteon Corporation. At Anteon, he led a group of ten scientists and engineers in the design, test and evaluation of a variety of fluid mechanical systems and subsystems, from naval ships and submarines, to advanced high-speed torpedoes, to America's Cup yachts. Dr. Fine and his group also performed engineering services supporting the development and testing of the Socrates wake vortex sensor. He has over 18 years of experience in research and development in acoustics, fluid mechanics, fluid-structure interaction, and structural dynamics.
Dr. Fine received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geomechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Hydrodynamics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
