Neal J. Rider has been affiliated with AmeriCold since November 2004. Prior to joining AmeriCold, Mr. Rider was involved in a variety of retail and distribution acquisition and portfolio opportunities with the Yucaipa Companies. Mr. Rider previously worked for Fleming Companies, Inc. where he last served as Executive Vice President of Business and Operations Development. He led the operations of its successful $2 billion convenience distribution division through its acquisition of CoreMark, Inc.
The majority of Mr. Rider's career was spent serving American Stores Company -- a $20 billion dollar food and drug retailer -- and its various divisions. At American, Mr. Rider held the positions of SVP-Health Care Operations, SVP-Procurement and Logistics Company, Treasurer and Controller. Mr. Rider was the Chief Financial Officer of American when it merged with Albertson's in 1999.
A Montana native, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah in 1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Montana. Mr. Rider is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Board of Directors of TDS Automotive Logistics, Inc. |
