Neal Cook represents institutional lenders, servicers and finance companies, as well as borrowers, in a variety of financing transactions, including syndicated financings, construction and permanent real estate loans, asset based loans, franchise loans and loan workouts and restructurings. Mr. Cook has extensive knowledge in the areas of commercial real estate finance and development, commercial leasing and corporate transactions.
Mr. Cook's practice regularly includes the following:
Representation of lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured working capital, term, acquisition and other credit facilities
Origination of commercial construction loans
Representation of mortgage loan portfolio servicers in connection with single-site and multi-site loan assumptions, as well as consent, REMIC and general compliance issues
Representation of bank syndicates in secured and unsecured credit facilities, including acquisition, term, letter of credit and working capital facilities
Coordination of financings and real estate transfers in connection with mergers and acquisitions
Negotiation of loan workouts and the restructuring of existing loans
