Throughout his career, Mr. Armstrong has analyzed, marketed, and sold investments in equities, high yield bonds, and distressed situations such as bankruptcies and reorganizations. As an analyst with Johnston Lemon & Co., he specialized in sell-side research, recommending equities and high yield bonds of companies in a variety of businesses. At Equity Group Holdings, Inc., a buyout boutique, he analyzed prospective investments and devised financing structures.
Mr. Armstrong has provided coverage on various investment opportunities over the years, primarily on special situations, distressed securities, and capital goods industry.
Mr. Armstrong is a member of the CFA Institute, as well as the D.C. Institute of CPAs (DCICPA). He received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his B.S. in accounting from Miami University, and is a certified public accountant. |
