Nicholas K. Moy is Managing Director of Underwriting and Risk Management for Assured Guaranty Corp. Mr. Moy, who has been with the firm since 1990, oversees the firm's municipal surveillance and municipal risk management activities. He sits on the company's municipal credit and underwriting committee.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Moy was employed by Bond Investors Guaranty and by Ambac as a municipal underwriter. Before joining Ambac, he was a Chief Analyst for the Office of the New York State Comptroller in an office charged with monitoring New York City's finances during the late 1970s.
Mr. Moy has a B.A. from Columbia University, where he also was a doctoral candidate in political science.
