Nicola Purcell is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. She is a member of the Tax Department, where her practice focuses on a broad range of international and domestic corporate/commercial tax issues, including corporate restructuring, transfer pricing and thin capitalization, double tax treaty issues, corporate and structured finance projects and mergers and acquisitions. Nicola also advises on the taxation of intellectual property, employment tax issues, stamp duty and VAT.
Nicola's experience also includes tax disputes and the negotiation of settlements with the UK tax authorities.
In addition, Nicola is a member of the London Chapter of the VAT Practitioners Group.
