Nicole Lipman is a Managing Director and the In-House Office Practice Leader in the San Francisco office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Nicole received her B.A. in government from Pomona College in 1993 and worked as an associate consultant at Bain & Company. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1997. Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Nicole worked as a corporate associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco, where she advised companies on venture financing, securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Nicole has worked with internet, software, hardware, biotechnology, retail, private equity, and investment management companies throughout the Bay Area to find attorneys for corporate counsel, IP counsel, and General Counsel positions. Companies for whom she has done searches include: Silver Lake Partners, Yahoo!, eBay, Gilead Sciences, McKesson Corporation, Gap Inc., Spansion, Hyperion Solutions, CoTherix, Mellon Capital Management, AXA Rosenberg, PMC-Sierra, Inc., and Visa U.S.A. She has also placed associates of all levels at large and mid-size law firms throughout Northern California. |
