Niketh Velamoor graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University in 2001, where he majored in economics and political science and was granted early induction into Phi Beta Kappa. In 2004, he received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a supervising editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation and authored Comment, Proposed Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 32.1 to Require That Circuits Allow Citation to Unpublished Opinions, 41 Harv. J. on Legis. 561 (2004). After law school, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Stephen C. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
