Nina Tassler was named President, CBS Entertainment, in September 2004. She reports directly to Nancy Tellem, President, CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group. In her position, Tassler oversees the Network's entertainment programming for prime time, late night and daytime, as well as program development for all genres, including comedy, drama, reality, specials, movies and mini-series. Under Tassler's leadership, CBS remains America's most-watched network for the fourth consecutive season. In her first development season as head of Entertainment, CBS had the 2005-2006 season's top-rated freshman class of series with the dramas THE UNIT (last season's # 1 new drama), GHOST WHISPERER, CRIMINAL MINDS and CLOSE TO HOME, and the comedies HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE, last season's most-watched new comedy. |
