Nir Diskin is responsible for leading ViryaNet's growing worldwide team of developers with diverse skill sets in business and engineering disciplines. Mr. Diskin has held a number of management positions within the ViryaNet R&D organization since joining ViryaNet in 1996. Nir was appointed to vice president of product management in 2000. Prior to his promotion, Nir headed the e-product team in R&D. He was named vice president, engineering in September 2005.
Nir brings with him a well-rounded management background, including serving as a Major in Israeli Air force where, in leadership positions, he dealt with avionics software development. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. |
