Nobuyuki Kobayashi began his career at Fujitsu Facom Co. Ltd. (currently merged with Fujitsu Corporation) in 1969 and worked there ten years before entering ORIX in 1979. He was appointed General Manager of the Business Planning and Development Departments in 1993 Tokyo Sales No. 8 in 1994 Branch Sales Coordination Dept. No. 3 in 1996 and the OQL Sales Coordination Department in 1997. He became a Corporate Executive Officer and Deputy Head Tokyo Sales Headquarters in 1998. He was President of ORIX Systems Corporation and ORIX Callcenter Corporation from 1999 until 2002 and was also responsible for the Personal Financial Services Department and the Office of Corporate Reengineering until the office was reorganized into the IT Business Headquarters in August 2000. Kobayashi was appointed the Head of Compliance Business Organization Reform and the Corporate Administration Department in November 2002 and a Corporate Senior Vice President in April 2003. In March 2005 Kobayashi was appointed the Head of the Human Resources & Corporate Administration Headquarters.
Kobayashi was born in 1944 and graduated from Chuo University's School of Engineering Sciences in 1969. |
