Noellette Conway, Ph.D.
Noellette Conway is the Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Automatika, Inc.,
a robotics and automation company based in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to founding Automatika, Inc.,
Dr. Conway was an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Management in the business and engineering
schools at Carnegie Mellon University and was Executive Director of Carnegie Mellon
University's Green Design Initiative, a research program directed towards environmentally-conscious
product and process design and pollution prevention. Dr. Conway has over 10 years of
experience in corporate management and strategic planning, research project management,
research program development and funding generation, teaching, and environmental consulting.
She has published extensively on the topics of pollution prevention, environmental product and
process design, and marine animal-bacterial symbioses.
