Mrs. Amaro has been a member of TAM�s board of directors since August 2001 and is the widow of its former chairman the late Mr. Rolim Adolfo Amaro. Mrs. Amaro was previously a teacher. She is currently a director of its controlling entity TEP. Mrs. Amaro is also the chairman of the board of directors of Aerosystem and TAM Mar�lia and was appointed to its board of directors by TEP pursuant to the shareholders' agreement.
