Norm Desmarais is the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of TiER1. Since 1989, Mr. Desmarais has founded four companies in manufacturing and high tech industries.



Prior to forming TiER1, he served as Vice President of Enterprise Learning with AFKelly. Previously he served as President and CEO of Cambridge Digital Media of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cambridge Digital Media, Inc. was a national leader in training and web development.



Norm is a recognized leader in web-based learning and has published several papers on implementing web-based applications and courseware development. Norm also frequently speaks and presents at national conferences. His companies have been featured in numerous national press releases and have received recognition for accomplishments in training, CD-ROM publishing, and Web development.

Norm is a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College IT Advisory board, was previously on the Board of Directors for the Northern Kentucky EZone and was part of the 2006 Leadership Northern Kentucky Class.



He holds a BS in Computer Science from Fitchburg State College and an MBA in Government Contracting from Western New England College.
