Founder and Chairman of WaittCorp, LLC, Norm Waitt has an active leadership and vision setting role in all his companies. His uncanny sense for opportunity led to his initial venture, Gateway Computers, which he had founded with his brother, Ted and their partner, Mike Hammond. Since that time, he has continued to pursue opportunity through the investment in and development of the operating companies and partnership investments that are now part of WaittCorp, LLC. Included among his investments are NRG Media, McCarthy Group Inc., Election Systems & Software and Gold Circle Films. It is the success of his endeavors that enabled him to establish his nonprofit charity, The Kind World Foundation. Located in his home state of South Dakota, the foundation facilitates numerous community-based service projects. Norm is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and holds degrees in business and economics. |
