Grayson Hall, 50, has a banking career spanning 26 years. Currently, he manages Regions General Banking Group, Operations & Technology, and Properties. He also serves as a member of Regions Executive Council.
Grayson joined AmSouth Bank in 1980 as a participant in the bank�s management trainee program and then began assuming a number of management positions within Operations, Commercial Banking and Technology. From 1993-2004, he was the head of the Operations and Technology Group and various administrative functions. From 2005-2006 he managed all lines of business including Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. In late 2006, AmSouth Bank merged with Regions Financial Corporation and he assumed his current role.
Grayson is a 1979 graduate of The University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn., with a bachelor�s degree in economics and received a master�s degree in business administration in 1980 from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking.
Grayson is active in several civic and leadership organizations, serving on the Norton Board for Birmingham-Southern College, the board of Young Business Leaders of Birmingham, the board of the Alabama Better Business Bureau and as a leadership volunteer of the United Way of North Central Alabama and the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. He also is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Birmingham. |
