Dr. Nwaneri received his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu, Nigeria. He completed residencies at Abbott Northwestern Hospital/University of Minnesota; a fellowship at the University of Iowa, and additional training at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, and Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease. At the University of Iowa, he did a research fellowship in Molecular Biology.
Dr. Nwaneri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
