Octavio Portu, Jr., co-founded Portu-Sunberg Marketing, a manufacturer�s representative firm that markets seasonal holiday products to major regional and national retailers. He also co-founded Seasonal Specialties, importing holiday seasonal products to major regional and national retailers, and Strategic Designs, designing and marketing new product ideas. Portu holds both a BA and an MBA from The American University in Washington, DC.
In addition to serving on Children�s board, Portu is a board member of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. He has served on the boards of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and the Children�s Theatre Company. Portu also has long service with the Breck School, currently serving as a board member and member of the executive committee. |
