Dr. Singla is a serial Entrepreneur with over 20 years of IT marketplace experience. He serves as President of Automation Image, a company he co-founded with his wife. He is passionately interested in using Business Entrepreneurship experience to advance Social Entrepreneurship. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board, Pratham DFW, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the primary education of underprivileged children. He also serves on the board of the Executive Education Advisory Council, University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Earlier, Dr. Singla has served as President of TiE Dallas/Fort worth Chapter, an Entrepreneurship nurturing non-profit organization and has been on its board since 1999. He is an International speaker on Entrepreneurship in various National/International Conferences, Television and Radio programs. Dr. Singla takes a high level of interest in mentoring budding entrepreneurs worldwide. Dr. Singla holds B.S. in Electrical Engineering from AMU, India, M.S. and Ph.D. Degrees in Telecommunications and Computer Science from UCLA, California. He has been an avid snow skier and scuba diver for the last 30 years. His other interests include hiking, writing a book or two and extended travels. |
