Mr. Sasson has experienced tremendous success leading start-up and established high technology companies in all stages of their business. He has chaired and founded pioneering companies in wireless carrier services, global transportation logistics and managed services. Sasson served as President and CEO of Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories- the leader in the field of computer telephony integration-where he expanded the company�s global market reach, recruited a top-notch international management team, and managed the company�s acquisition by Paris-based Alcatel in January 2000. Previously, Sasson served as Chairman and CEO of Scopus Technology, a company he co-founded in 1991 and which maintained 7 years of uninterrupted profitability under his leadership. Sasson guided Scopus from its inception through a highly successful IPO and until its merger with Siebel Systems in April 1998, creating what is now the second largest applications company in the world. Sasson has used his business savvy to advise many young companies and has received numerous accolades, including the award for 1997 Bay Area Entrepreneur of the Year. He earned a master of science in Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Sasson also serves on the boards of Fandango, RoamWare, and Foxcom Wireless. |
